there are 是不是后面跟复数,there is后面跟单数?
帮我看下这个例子吧 there is some milk in the cup 这个地方为什么用is ,some代表的是复数啊,应该是there are 啊,怎么是there is呢?
还有一个 there is some water in the bottle. 为什么这个地方也是用的is

there is some milk in the cup 和there is some water in the bottle.
milk和water这两个都是液体,都是不可数名词,前面可以用some,但是be动词必须用单数is
总之there are后面跟复数,there is后面跟单数或者不可数名词.
