At  what age to start nusery school Most nursery schools begin with 2 and 2.5 year old children and this is a good age to start if the child seems ready  for it.Some parents put their children in nursery school a little later .This is a mistake.Besides learning skills,chidren learn how to enjoy other children's company,to cooperate,to think up projects and work them out,and have the freedom to run and dance and sing.These are very important.The children need all these experiences.The longer they are postponed,the harder it is to pick them up easily.       A few nursery schools start with 2-year-olds.This may work very well if the child is fairly independent and outgoing,if the class is small and if the teacher is so warm and undersraning that she qiuckly makes children feel secure.
