为什么不是I hope you will come soon.

只是一般现在时表将来的情况.
口语中,一般现在时可以按规定、计划、时间表要发生的事情,通常都有一个表示未来时间的状语.如 The plane takes off at 9:20 a.m
还有一种情况就是,在时间或条件从句中,需用一般现在时表示将来的动作：如,If I see Nacy I'll ask her.I'll tell her after you leave.
然后就是一些从句中,可以用一般时表示将来的动作：
I hope taht you feel better soon.
Suppose he doesn't come,shall we go without him?
Assuming it rains tomorrow,what shall we do?
I'll just say whatever comes into my head.
Come and stay as long as you please.
I'll get the car fixed nomatter how much it costs.
What ever happens ,I'am going.
I hope you will come soon.这是用将来时表示看法（一般将来时有表示“看法,习惯性动作、请求、允诺、同意）,而I hope you come soon则是用一般时表将来说明说话人的意愿.
