宾语从句的语序问题
I don't know what is the matter.
有人说：因为what在从句中作主语,所以不用改变语序了,不能说“I don't know what the matter is.”

What is the matter?
What is her problem?
这两句话结构看上去非常相似,为什么第二句就要变从句的语序呢?即：I don't know what her problem is?

在分析之前先说明一点,what,who,which这三个疑问代词如果在所修饰的问句中做主语的话,那么在变成名词性从句时不改变语序.例如：who came here last night?----who came here last night.然后再分析你的句子,what is the matter?中what做主语,因为它的作答方式有点特别为money is the matter而不是the matter is money.而第二个问句中,what is her problem?her problem is money.what 为宾语,既然what的成分是宾语,那么在变成名词性从句时,要改变语序,既what her problem is.满意请采纳.
