Now, a programme called “Running for the Asian Games" is going on in our school, lasting from October lst to October 31st. The programme is to improve the students" health, and welcome the coming 2010 Asian Games. The opening ceremony was held on October 1st, when all the students ran together around the school. During the one-month programme, the students are encouraged to go running every day, boys for 2 kilometers while girls for l.5 kilometers.The organizers hope that by the end of the programme, the total running distance of all the students in each class will reach 2000 kilometers, equal to the distance from Guangzhou to Beijing.

Besides，increased college enrollment can contribute to raise the educational level of our nation. What"s more, increased college enrollment can provide more students with specialized knowledge, thus serving our development in a positive way.
On the other hand, we can not deny that there are some potential problems about increased college enrollment. To begin with, with the increased number of students, the shortage of teaching staff and facilities becomes clearly seen. Worst of all, increased college enrollment leads to increased competition in the job market.
It"s not an easy task to tell whether the tendency should be encouraged. As to me, it"s laudable to grant more students higher education. But a college degree is by no means a guarantee for a better job or future. To cast a promising career, we need a lot more abilities which we can not learn from college.
