This passage tells us that though people dress differently in everyday life, what matters most is that we should dress neatly and properly instead of caring too much about the quality and fashion.
Personally speaking, I totally agree with the writer. It is obvious that we should not dress too casually. It is necessary for every one of us to dress properly on different occasions. In schools, students are often required to wear school uniforms, but when they are out of school, they should not care too much about what to wear. I have friends who only buy and wear clothes of famous brands and never think about their high prices. Some young people are always trying to keep up with the fashion and also care too much about their dressing. I think it is not worthwhile.
