     Korean culture is really exciting right now. The Korean Wave is sweeping Asian countries including
China. Young people are going crazy about Korean TV plays, Korean pop songs, taekwondo (跆拳道)

     The Korean Wave started a few years ago with the TV series "Winter Sonata". This love story is

     All over the world, people "talk" with their hands, with their heads and with their eyes. When

     When we get help from others, we say "Thank you". So "Thank you" is very popular among us Chinese
  students. But is it as popular in the UK?
     The answer is "no". Here is a recent survey in the newspaper. "Thank you" is only the 20th most
 popular way of showing gratitude (感激) in the UK.
     The survey shows that British people like "Cheers" most. For example, when friends invite each other

 gratitude.
     By the way, British people usually like to say: "You"re welcome", "No problem" or "Sure" to answer "
 thank you".
