At the beginning of his lesson ,he liked to have one of his students give a report on any subject.when it was jack’s turn ,he told his audience about his edler brother who was local worker.but during the report ,his eyes were staring at the world map on the wall all the time .Mr.Smith knew that Jack didn’t look at the audience because he was nervous.he said to jack jokingly,”we can see you miss your brother very much.But is he O.K. now in South America?”

我不知道填什么,答案填But,说是转折关系,我不觉得是转折啊,这里哪里有什么转折的,到底怎样算是转折关系?谢谢

的确是转折关系.Jack因为演讲太紧张所以一直看着世界地图.所以他的老师跟他开玩笑说：我知道你很想你的兄弟,但是他现在是在南美吗?而上文有提到他的兄弟是local worker
