It has been a struggle since I am still a part of the program and currently pay $410 a month.I started the program in January 2008 with a balance of＄18,000,and I am now down to $1,200.This should be paid off by the end of this summer.Sure,it has taken three years.That’s like paying off a car!I can’t imagine what my balances would be if I had not entered this program.
The good thing about having had a debt management plan is not only that I am getting rid of my debt,but also that I learned how to better manage my money.I haven’t had a credit card in three and a half years and have done well without it.
