In 1903 London writes "The call of the wild",which made
him immediately famous,and his name was knowing all
over America soon.For the next twelve year he wrote wildly,
and lived an even wild life and was especially fond
of drinking.He never settled down.He served
as newspaper reporter in Asia at the time of the war
between Russia and Japan,but did the same job in the
Mexican Civil War in the 1914.Wherever there was a war,
London was there.So it was not surprised to learn he
died at the age of forty years on Nov.22,1916.
