In the modern society,people always face the dilemma to choose whether students should study the courses that the schools offer or the courses that students want to study.People may prefer one to another although some may have no opinions about it at all.As to which is better,I think the answers vary.It’s necessary to take a glance at the arguments of both sides.
It’s quite common for average people to choose the courses that students themselves want to study because the reason that the courses students take are their preference,they take interests in them.Maybe you can choose the subjects in any area regardless of what your main major is.
But at the mean time,although taking their favorite subjects has some advantages,it also has many drawbacks such as students mainly concentrate on PE lessons but ignore the importance of specialized skills.And in another case,most students may apply one widely welcomed subject,so the school can’t give enough resources for

语言能力是不错的,没有什么可以挑的··
问题在于结构,首先你没有阐述你的观点,整个第一段几乎都是没有实际意义的话,虽然可以读完整篇后看出你的观点是两个各有利弊,但是逻辑结构太不清晰.
其后,你原因都列出来了,但是仅仅是点到为止,原因都没有发展下去,尤其是支持的原因才4行,而反对的原因写了11行,这样的结构显然不支持你各有利弊的论点.
