Dear Sirs,
We wish to acknowledge receipt of the L/C for the amount of US $4,000 covering your order No.5678 for 500 luxury fragrance lamps.
Unfortunately the amount in your L/C is insufficient, as the exact total CIF value of your order comes to US $4,300 instead of US $4,000,the difference being US $300.



In view of the above, please increase the amount of your L/C by US $300.On receipt of your amendment we shall effect shipment.For your information, there is a fast liner S.S.“Red Star”,which is due to sail for your port on June 8th. We shall shipping space on the vessel on receipt of your amendment.
