这两个短语（介词短语和不定式短语）的位置不同,所起的语法作用也不同.
 
1、跟在名词后是后置定语（短语作定语要后置）
 
例一、The boy in the classroom needs a pen of yours.  教室里的男孩子需要你的一支钢笔
 

主语部分：The boy in the classroom  教室里的男孩子

     【定语】in the classroom 

谓语部分：needs a pen of yours  需要你的一支钢笔
