对于第三句,我有不同的看法,参考参考,我觉得(which …… town)是修饰 some excess of spirit的定语从句（从语义上理解）,最后的一个who引导的定从是修饰后面的一个some的.
我认为虽然许多人在这里是因为精神的过量而迫使其离开自己的小城镇,一些人也在这里觉得纽约是一个保护区或是一个好的替代,是因为精神的匮乏（翻译的不太好啊）.
