Jack finds nowhere to hide.He has to llie on the ground.He thinks the bear will eat him.The bear smells his feet.Then it smell his head.It smells for a long time.the bear doesn't eat Jack.It thinks Jack is dead.Then the bear walks away.
davis climbs down the tree.he is surprised.He doesn't understand why the bear did not eat Jack.Jack is angry.he leaves davis and speaks angrily "it said you were not my friend."
