I was getting a little tired of the "Field of Dreams," so today I decided to listen to an English CD.The CD is called Punch the Clock.My two favorite songs on the CD are "Everyday I write the book" and "Shipbuilding." I like the melodies in both of the songs.I sang along but I don't know what I am saying.I programmed my CD to play these two songs again and again.I decided to tape the songs on to a tape so that I could listen to it in my walkman.

8:00 a.m.- 8:45 a.m.
I listened to the tape I made yesterday while going to school.This time I was concentrating a little.Yesterday I was reading a magazine as I was listening so I didn't think so much about the words but today I am only listening.I tried to understand the words of the chorus.I think I can understand some of the lines.When I go home today I am going to check if my thoughts are correct.The words to the songs are in the CD cover so I can look at the words.

I got a movie from the video store.I began the movie as I was eating dinner.I watched the movie before and I enjoyed it so I decided to watch it again.This time I thought more about the English and I tried not to read the subtitles.After I finished watching it I played it again as I was cleaning up my room.I like to listen to the little girl in the movie.She is very easy to understand.
