I hope to spend a year in America after I leave school.

We hope that he will be well again soon.
我们希望他会很快康复.
注意：hope的句型有hope for sth.,hope to do sth.,hope + that从句（从句用陈述语气）.不存在hope sb.to do sth.的形式.又如：
