According to this essay, the best relevance which plays a crucial part on ad tranlation deasn’t mean either complete localization or death translation (keep original), but anylysis and disposal based on the dynamic relationship between the source language and object language. The concept of the best relevance is very important in relevance theory which perfectly annotates two translation theories: localization and original; besides, it explains that the relationship between them is contradictory unity of opposites. Using the best relevance correctly may well solve the controdiction between complete localization and original in ad translation.
