1.分数做主语,关键是看它代指的是什么名词的比例.
2.其判断原则和分数后面加了“of + 名词”做句子主语判断一样.
如果of后面是可数名词单数形式,则谓语动词也用单数形式（三单）；
如果of后面是可数名词复数形式,则谓语动词也用复数形式；
如果of后面是不可数名词,则谓语动词也用单数形式（三单）.
3.例如：
1）Two thirds of the desk is painted red.
the desk为可数名词单数,则动词用三单is；
2）Two thirds of the studnents in my class are boys.
the students是可数名词复数,所以动词也用复数形式are；
3）One fifth of the water comes from the underground.
the water为不可数名词,所以动词也用三单形式comes.
4.但是当分数词修饰population时,则谓语动词一律用复数形式.
如：Seven tenths of the populaiton in China are farmers.
