My name is Li Hua.I’m a middle school student.I’m writing this letter to put forward a proposal to make good use of water. As is well known to us all，water is the source of life.Without water there would be no living things.Besides，fresh water is becoming less and less.
But it is a fact that farmers are still watering crops and vegetables using the traditional way.It’s a waste of water to irrigate farm lands in this way.In my opinion farmers play an important role in saving water.I think it would be better for farmers to use modern technology when they use water for farming.Only in this way can we save as much water as possible.I propose that every one of us should try our best to save water，especially the farmers，so that we can leave more fresh water for our young generations.
