not like ugly people either. Her friends like to talk about film stars and singers. But Cherry says she is not
interested in them. She tells her friends that one day she will become a film star too. She always acts like she is
better than everybody else. Cherry was with her friends at a coffee shop one day. Mandy, one of her friends ran
to the coffee shop to meet them. She was catching her breath, "Big news, girls. Nicholas Tse is coming to Sai
Kung to make a film. We can see him in person and perhaps we can take pictures with him. "All the girls were
very excited about the news. But Cherry did not seem to be interested in it. She said. "Nicholas Tse is a star.
So what?" The next afternoon, the weather was hot. Cherry was standing in line to buy an ice cream. When she
was about to pay, her dollar fell onto the ground. A young man behind her picked up the dollar and gave it back
to her. It was Nicholas Tse. Cherry took the dollar. She said "thank you" and turned back without a second look.
She pretended that she did not know him. But her face was turning red. Her heart was beating very fast. Cherry
left the ice cream shop. She had some change in her hand but she did not have the ice cream. She went back to
the shop and asked the boy, "Where is my ice cream?" The boy said, "I don"t know. I gave it to you." Then
Nicholas Tse said to Cherry, "I saw you put it in your purse." Then he and the other people in the shop could
not help laughing.
