Last Monday, our teacher told us we would go on a school trip to the zoo. We were really happy, because it was our first school trip this term. We bought a lot of food in the supermarket.
The next day we met at the school gate at half past seven. It was sunny that day. We went to the zoo with our teacher on the school bus. We laughed and sang on the bus. How happy we were!
When we arrived at the zoo, we saw many kinds of animals. There were monkeys, crocodiles鳄鱼, pandas, tigers, lions, bears, elephants and so on. We took lots of photos there. I liked the pandas best. They were very lovely. I didn’t like the crocodiles. They were too scary. At noon, we had a rest under a tree, and we ate our food there.

Have you ever wondered what an American high school is real like? This article will describe a typical （典型的）high school and its students.
A typical American high school has several large buildings and enough space for about 1,500 students. Every student is given a locker. When students first arrive at school, they go straight to their lockers to put away or get their textbooks and to hang up their outdoor clothes. As American textbooks are expensive, students would rather loan （租借）than buy them. Students must pay back if they lost any of them.
