George Mallory was an English school teacher who loved climbing. In 1924, Mallory and a team of British climbers tried to get to the top of Mount Qomolangma, the tallest mountain in the world. No one had ever done it before.

Mark Twain was the pen name of Samuel Langhorne Clemens. He was born on November 30, 1835, in a small town in Florida, the USA. He grew up with a few naughty boys who later appeared in his stories.
