关于冠词THE的
练习上有一改错题：
The earth turns itself from the west to the east.
答案”应将“from the west to the east”改为“from west to east”
可是在语法书上说“在世界上独一无二的实物或方为等名词前应加定冠词The.
e.g:The sun rises in the east and sets in the west."
所以我很不解,为什么在题目中的west和east要去The?

这类词有：
the east东方,the west西方,the south南方,the north北方,the right右边,the left左边
