不是动词用+ed指人,加ing指物吗?
they spend the night pouring cash into the hotel,中为什么pouring用Ing,我觉得应该用ed啊,不是指的前面的人吗?

-ed指人,-ing指物说的是表示情绪方面的动词后加的.
如：
surprise,excite,interest,please这些动词就是“使（人有）……情绪”
而they spend the night pouring cash into the hotel这里是spend some time (in) doing sth
是他们花了整个晚上把现金全都倒进宾馆里了.（他们用了整个晚上把现金都花在宾馆里了）
他们把钱倒进宾馆,是他们倒的,所以用pouring表示主动的.
