Do you have any pets?In my house there is a very sloppy "PIG".Yes,he is very sloppy.He always watches TV in his underwear!Even if I am there!As soon as he comes home he takes off his smelly socks and throws them all over the living room!At night he always tosses around in his bed,making lots of noise!It is terrible!Worse still he pretends to know everything and he is really stubborn.Have you ever seen a pig like that before!I think you have never seen one.Because this pig is my father!
I think many girls my age feel the same way about their father.I have heard stories about other fathers too.My friend said,"My father is really bad!He likes to watch baseball games so I can never watch my favorite TV program !He is always smoking,and he fights with my mother!I really do not like that!" My father does not smoke,does not drink,never gets angry and he is so kind.I think he is a very nice man.However,living with my father sometimes makes me irritated.
My mother tried to tell me,"Your father is helping many people as a doctor." I know that my father is a doctor and his work is very important.But I have never seen him working and I can not imagine what his job is like.I only know about his work from the conversations he sometimes has with nurses on the telephone late at night.But I can not understand them because the words he uses are difficult.I only know my father at home.Yes,a father like a PIG!
But one day my father became very sick and he was taken to the hospital.He became ill because of stress from his work and also stress from us.Maybe,especially me.He never talked with us about his work and never talked about the pressure he was under,I did not understand how hard he was working.I was too busy with school and my own life to notice.I also often ignored him and I was not always a good daughter.When I found out why he became sick,I was upset and I could not sleep well.He was working for us.But I had been unkind to him and I was ungrateful.
After my father got better,I decided to get closer to him.After all,he is my father and I care for him.So one day I decided to try to talk to him.He is very interested in Japanese history,so I asked him many questions and we talked for a long time.He actually talked with me longer than he did with my mother that day.I was so happy.After that,we went fishing,we went to the pool and we talked for a long time.He and I became friends.
Since the time my father was hospitalized,my attitude toward him has changed little by little.I realized how important it is for children to make an effort to become closer to their parents.I want to communicate with my father and talk about what is going on in our lives.Now I think that my father is cool.He works hard to help many people and I am proud of him.
