One's social status could be displayed by his or her occupational position, car, house, also services and privileges he or she enjoys. For the youth, flaunting their parents' job positions is just like rich people showing off their splendid yacht. For children who have their parents at a high social status, they enjoy many privileges. One of my neighbours had employed a private driver suddenly one day, and without question, we all knew he was promoted. Some people feel it is important to display their social statuses as they do enjoy many more privileges and services from doing so. Others feel differently, they think flaunting their advantageous social statuses is a very superficial behaviour.
