我写的一段短文,帮我看下是否有语法错误或者意思表达不恰当,I asked boss for a rise the other day.I told him in this city cost of living was very high.I said I had to support wife and family's cost,but they couldn't live on my salary.Then boss told me business was very bad.But to my surprise,in the end,he agreed and offered me a big rise in salary.
