Every morning we open our eyes, we may find that we are actually living in this rapidly changing society, particularly in terms of working and studying conditions. if you are an advocate of studying abroad, you have probably read at one time or another that current trends in this controversy shows that there are two opinions about this issue: some people hold studying abroad as an angel, while other individuals regard it a demon. In my view, I totally agree with the former idea.
Studying abroad may create substantial benefits. To begin with, this practice can help foster a strong sense of achievement in many students when they have fulfilled their school work. Secondly, it is not unrealistic that studying abroad can deepen their knowledge and broaden their outlook. Technically, studying abroad could bring far-reaching effects for people ‘s life. Last but no least, it is not uncommon that students may gain higher salary when they come back to China after achieving a certain degree.
On the other hand, China is a country which is developing all the time. When we study in some developed countries such as the USA and the UK, we must pay higher tuitions. For instance, if a student complete his college education in china, he will pay a tuition between $8000-$9000,yet if he fulfills his degree in the USA, the corresponding tuition will be between $100000-$120000.
Just as Hegel put it: what is rational is real, and what is real is rational. This shows that everything has its profound significance, but everything has two sides, that is ,its merits as well as its shortcomings. Since we are living in this community full of information explosion, we need the objective dialectical materialism when handling different problems, if we forsee more good than harm in dealing with a problem, we promote it, and we object it when our predictions are opposite.
In the final analysis, despite of the negative effects such as higher fees, I am convinced that encouraging students to study abroad is benefitial to both the individuals and the society . thanks a lot.
