一个困扰我很久的语法问题,大家帮我看看
I can often think of the situation WHERE students obviously knows the meaning of each words but cannot translate the sentence well.请问这里的where为什么不能改成that,我认为做situation的同位语从句也没错啊,为什么不行呢?这里的where又怎么解释呢?这个问题困扰了我整个高中,现在上大学了做英语家教,又碰到这种题了,要发狂了都……

你可以这样理解.situation的用法一般是in the situation.后半句从句中介词in,所以要用where啊,等同于in which
situation,case,occasion情况一样
