Talk with your partner about your future career:the reasons why you choose it,which city would you prefer to go to,etc.

Mum: XX, what's your plan for the future?
Child: En, I want to be a great artist.
M: Why you want to be an artist?
C: Well, It's a cool job and can get lots of attention from the public. Also I personally like drawing and desiging very much.
M: Maybe so. But it's not a reliable career from my point of view.
C: Why you say so?
M: Do you know how many people can get on the top in the art area? One in a billion. If you want to use art to earn money you may not survive...
C: Oh I never think in that way. So what's your suggestion mum?
M: I think you can study design and be a designer. Of course you can do drawing in your spear time for fun.
C: Sound cool! Ok, so i decide to be a designer from now.
M: Say in the future, which city do you prefer to work in?
C: Well...I prefer big city like Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou, because big city means more job opportunities.
M: I would prefer you can work at our hometwon you know.
C:If I cannot reach my dream at big cities I will back to hometown for sure. But I'm worry I cannot get good working opportunities here.
M:I think as long as you study hard and experienced, it shouldn't be a problem to find job here.
C: Hope so. Thanks for the advices Mum.
M: You are welcome my dear.
