"No sweet without sweat" is an old saying by ancient people from their daily experiences.
In ancient times,some peasant planted rice seeds,spread(摊开) the manure(肥料)and water them in the shining sun.Sweat run through their clothes and dropped from their head.They stepped(行走)out of their home to the field with a hoe(锄头)on their shoulders and they went home with their exhausted(疲乏的)bodies when the sun set day in and day out.In autumn,the harvest(收获)season ,they can get a lot of wheat(小麦).Smiles appeared(布满)on their black and wrinkly(有皱纹的)faces.At that time,they understand"No sweet without sweat" .
The proverb(谚语)is also true in modern life.It has been proved(证明)that the saying can also be applied(应用)to many aspects(方面)in our life little by little.Without endeavor(努力),we can’t make great achievements and win the respect (尊重)and praise(赞美)from all over the world.Without endeavor,how can a singer or a writer become well-known.Without hard training,how can an athlete win the gold medal in the international games?Without sweat paid off,how can you climb up the top of the mountain and look over the boundless(无限的) beautiful view?Without sweat paid off,how can builders built out of the buildings?
Edison is a person who invented lamps and greatly improved(改变) civilization(文化) of human beings.We learned the saying him that is “1% genius(天才) plus(加) 99% hard work make success”.He had to do several thousand of experiments(实验) to prove(证明) his conjecture(猜想).He succeeded with his large amount of sweat.If he had given up half way ,he would only have been a mediocre(普通的) person.Records,shining lights,ringing telephone are very common now.Edison’s thinking cap and endeavor made them.Maybe you are born with genius just like Mozart、Beethoven、Einstein,but without sweat you also can not get sweet.
In a word,no sweet without sweat.There are some people with a lot of resentment(抱怨)their day,it is not as good as sitting at the table to think about how to pay for more efforts(努力) to learn.Everybody can be successful,success is dependent on how hard you work.So,only by working hard can we succeed in doing everything.
