这个故事讲的是一只小白兔看见乌龟缓慢的动作，不禁骄傲起来，想要与乌龟来一次赛跑。骄傲的小白兔并不把与乌龟的这场比赛放在眼里，而把这场比赛当作消遣，好好奚落乌龟一番。小白兔在比赛时睡着了，乌龟坚持不懈，始终如一的勤奋努力，终于超过小白兔，抵达终点。这个故事的寓意是只有坚持不懈，始终如一的勤奋努力，才能抵达胜利的终点。
从这个故事我想到了一滴水是很软弱的。但只要朝着一个方向不段地滴落下去，最终能把坚硬的石头击穿。这正如一位伟大的人物说过的那样：在科学道路上是没有平坦道路可走的，只有在坎坷山路攀登不畏劳苦的人，才有希望达到光辉的顶点。在学习求知的漫长岁月中，人的智力有高有低;但只要持之以恒，一步一个脚印地走下去，就一定能够取得优异的成绩，成为有用之才。相反，那些具有天赋的智力较高的人，假如仅凭一时热情，不做长远的努力，最终只能落在别人的后头，成为一知半解的人。天才在于积累，成功在于勤奋，这点对于每个人都是一样。我们要懂得坚持不懈，勤奋努力，始终有一天成为国家的栋梁!
