insist后that从句中虚拟语气使用问题
He insisted that he deserved a perfect score if the system were not set up against the student.
这个是课文里面的原文.在语法上来讲,insist后面的that从句中的谓语动词应该是用(should)deserve,但是这里用的是deserved.请教是什么原因?insist这个词的意思比较单一的,应该不会是因为意义问题.

insist有"坚持"和"强调",当它作"坚持"讲时,要用虚拟语气,
如: We insist that you accept these gifts. 我们坚决要求你收下这些礼物 (主句主语是we,从句主语是you)
当它作"强调"讲时,后面从句的动词根据具体的语境变化而变化.但注意,这种用法,主句与从句的主语通常是同一个人.
如：She insisted that she didn't tell the lie. 她强调她(自己)没有撒谎. (主句主语是she,从句主语是she. 都是同一个人.)
