Nowadays, our country"s economy is fast developing, which may meet our reqirements in matter in many ways, but we must realize that we have got the development of economy at the cost of our environment. As we can see, we are suffering more and more disaster because of the damaged environment. So in order to protect our homeland----the earth, we should take necessary measures to stop environmental pollution or reduce levels of environmental pollution.
Firstly, we should pass laws to forbid cutting down trees. Secondly,  whoever pollutes our environment should be punished. Besides, wild animals should be well protected. Most importantly, everyone should know the importance of protecting environment.
In my opinion, if we act soon enough, we can still have a bright future. However, if we don"t,  we will certainly be punished by nature.
