hard work, and you get very dirty. But this doesn"t matter to me because animals are the most important
thing in my life! There are a hundred monkeys and fifty deer in my part of the zoo and I give them
their food and clean their houses. I also need to watch them carefully to be sure that they are all well. In
fact rhinos (犀牛) are my favourite animals and so last year I went to Africa (非洲) with a workmate for
a month to study them.
The zoo is open every day and I work five different days each week. I live in a small flat (公寓) twenty
minutes away and I get up at ten to seven and start work at eight. The first thing I do when I get home at
quarter past five is to take a shower!

take place. What will the changes be?
The population (人口) is growing fast. There will be more people in the world and most of them will live
longer than people live now.
Computers will be smaller and more useful, and there will be at least one in every home. And computer
studies will be one of the important subjects in schools then.
(2) People will work ________ hours than they do now and they will have ________ free time for
relaxing, such as sport, watching TV and traveling. Traveling will be easier and cheaper. More people will
go to other countries on holiday.
There will be changes in our food, too. More land will be used for building new towns and houses for
all the people. There will be less room for cows and sheep. So meat will be expensive. Maybe no one will
eat it every day. Instead, they eat fruit and vegetables. Maybe people will be healthier.
Work in the future will be different, too. Dangerous and hard work will be done by robots, because of
this, many people will have less work to do. This will be a problem.
