My tears run down from my cheeks (面颊) when I talk to my parents on the phone. What are they doing when I call them? Dad works from seven o’clock in the morning to nine o’clock in the evening. My mum does all the housework, she also has to work in the field. But I can’t do anything for them.

We can’t live without love and we know what love is, but we don’t say only humans know what love is. Yes, it’s impossible for animals to do some things because of their physical body. On Thanksgiving Day, a teacher asked her class of first-graders to draw a picture of something they were thankful for. She thought that these children from poor families actually had little to be thankful for. And she found most of them drawing pictures of flowers or tables with food. A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said, “I am blind, please help.” There were only a few coins in the hat.
