I have recently done a survey to learn whether students would like to join in the English speech contest, Here are the results. Most students would like to take part in the contest. They think it will help them improve their speaking skills and become more confident. Besides, they can learn from others. How ever, 27% of the students won"t join in the contest. Some of them are not brave enough to speak in public. Others are afraid that they will fail. What"s more, they have to spend a lot of time practicing. As for me, I"d like to join in the contest.
